Coverack

Coverack is a one-bedroom holiday home on the outskirts of Mawnan Smith, where the only bed sits on a mezzanine reached by stairs from the living space. It is a king-size zip/link that can be set up as twin beds on request, and the owner should be told the preferred arrangement before arrival. The property sleeps two.

Downstairs, the open-plan kitchen, dining and living area has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine, a Smart TV and high-speed WiFi. There is also a desk workspace. The ground-floor shower room has a walk-in shower, a heated towel rail, basin and WC. Central heating is backed up by air conditioning. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

On the wider site, guests share an outdoor heated pool that is open from Easter to the end of September, with no lifeguard cover and children supervised by a parent or an adult over 18. A sauna and an indoor and outdoor hot tub run year-round at set hours, and there is a communal games room and children's play area. Off-road parking is available, and the shared EV charging points are paid for through the Monta app. The shop is 0.5 miles away and the pub 1.8 miles.

One well-behaved dog is welcome; further dogs need prior arrangement with the owner. Smoking is not allowed. Hen and stag parties need approval before booking, and in the school summer holidays only 7-night bookings are taken. Coverack suits a couple, and is less good for anyone who wants to avoid stairs to the bed.
