Sennen

Sennen is one of a row of six contemporary units just behind the stone courtyard of the original farm at Tresooth Cottages, on the edge of Mawnan Smith. Its bedroom is a mezzanine upstairs, with a large picture window looking over the courtyard to the fields beyond. It sleeps 2 guests.

The living area has a sofa, coffee table, dining table and a desk, and the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. A Smart TV takes streaming services, and high-speed fibre broadband reaches the cottage, the courtyard and the pool area. The shower room is on the ground floor with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Heating is central, with air conditioning as well. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and high chairs, travel cots and stair gates can be hired at an extra charge on request.

Shared on the site are an outdoor heated pool, open from Easter to the end of September with no lifeguard, an indoor and outdoor hot tub, a sauna and a games room with table tennis, pool table and table football. Children must be supervised by a parent or an adult over 18 at the pool, and the hot tub and sauna keep to daily opening hours all year. Off-road parking is available, and the communal EV charging points are paid for through the Monta app.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, and extra dogs need prior arrangement with the owner. Smoking is not allowed. Hen and stag parties need approval before booking, and in the school summer holidays only 7-night bookings are taken. Sennen suits a couple, and is less good for a third guest, since it sleeps two and the only bedroom is upstairs.
