Driftwood is a three-bedroom apartment in Mawgan Porth, a sheltered coastal village between Newquay and Padstow, sleeping 6 across a king-size room, a double and a twin, each with its own Smart TV. Two bathrooms serve the group, with an en-suite off the king-size room, and parking is included for guests arriving by car, with the beach at Mawgan Porth the nearest at 400 metres.

Sea views reach the open-plan living area and main bedroom, and two patios face different directions: one over the valley, the other towards Mawgan Porth beach. Wi-Fi, parking and a dishwasher are included, and dogs are not accepted. The family shower room has a walk-in shower. Stays are booked by the week, and Bedruthan Steps is the second nearest beach.

Mawgan Porth beach is 400 metres away across the sand, Bedruthan Steps Beach is 1.4 miles north along the coast path and Watergate Bay is 1.9 miles south towards Newquay. The path also continues north past the sea stacks at Bedruthan Steps, a Dark Sky Discovery site good for stargazing on clear nights.

**Best for:** a family or mixed group of six wanting proper bedrooms, sea views and the beach on foot, without needing a car for the day.

**Less good for:** guests travelling with a dog, anyone needing step-free access.
