Sandseekers Barn

Sandseekers Barn is a three-bedroom barn conversion for six in Mawgan Porth, a sheltered valley village between Newquay and Padstow. Two bedrooms have king-size beds, with one zip-and-link pair that can become twins on request, and the third has a super-king. Two bathrooms serve the group.

Countryside and sea views stretch from the property, and guests share access to a beach path and a paddock with a games area, useful for keeping children occupied without a drive. Parking, a dishwasher and garden access are included, and up to two dogs can stay. There is no WiFi and no washing machine, so guests staying a week should plan for a launderette.

Mawgan Porth beach is 800 metres away, a wide sweep of sand that has won Sunday Times awards and draws surfers, families and rock-poolers, with lessons available from KingSurf on the sand. Bedruthan Steps, a line of sea stacks visible from the cliff top and a Dark Sky Discovery site, is 0.9 miles north. Watergate Bay is 2.3 miles south towards Newquay.
