Dune Haven

Dune Haven is a semi-detached cottage in Goonhavern, a village set about 1.9 miles inland from Perranporth's 3-mile beach on Cornwall's north coast. The property sleeps six and has all rooms on the ground floor - useful for families with younger children or anyone who prefers single-level living.

Inside, three bedrooms provide a king-size double, a twin, and a bunk room. The sitting and dining room centres on a woodburning stove, with a separate kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, five-burner gas hob, and coffee machine. A conservatory extends the living space, accessed through the bunk bedroom. Smart TV, WiFi, and a games console are included.

The rear garden is enclosed and laid to lawn, with a patio, decked area, and BBQ. A separate front garden adds further outdoor space. Off-road parking fits one car, and secure bike storage is provided - a practical touch given the cycle trails linking Goonhavern to the coast. A pub and shop sit within 0.2 miles of the front door.

Perranporth Beach is 2 miles away, with its surf breaks, RNLI lifeguards in summer, and The Watering Hole - a bar built directly on the sand. Holywell Bay, known for its dune-backed sand and Gull Rocks sea stacks, is 3.7 miles to the north. The A30 is about 4 miles inland, connecting to Truro and the rest of Cornwall.

Best for families with young children thanks to single-level living, with a pub and shop just 0.2 miles away. Less good for groups with more than one car - off-road parking fits a single vehicle.
