Elanora

Elanora is a first-floor apartment at Barepta Cove on Headland Road, Carbis Bay, a few steps from the beach and the South West Coast Path. A decked balcony reached through sliding doors from the living area looks over the bay to St Ives harbour and Godrevy lighthouse, and a telescope and tripod are provided.

The main bedroom has floor-to-ceiling windows, a Juliet balcony and an en-suite bath with a shower over. The rear bedroom has a super-king bed that can be made up as twin beds if you ask at least seven days before arrival, after which extra housekeeping costs apply. The shower room has a walk-in shower. Underfloor heating runs throughout, and the kitchen has an American fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

There is private parking for one car. From it, the way up is by the lift or nine internal steps, and the notice says not to rely on the lift alone in case it is out of order. Highchair and travel cot are available. WiFi and Sky Q are included, as are fuel, power, bed linen and towels.

Pets are strictly not allowed under the building's lease, barbecues are not allowed, and e-bikes and scooters cannot be stored or charged. It sleeps 4 guests and suits a couple or a small family; it is less good for anyone travelling with a pet or wanting to bring a barbecue.
