Crantock Beach is about a 7-minute walk (roughly a mile), with Polly Joke - a quieter, dune-backed beach - just under a mile in the other direction. Prices from £1,068/week, up to £2,349 at peak, with Saturday changeovers.

Crantock village has a church, a convenience store, two pubs, and a seasonal pizza restaurant. The South West Coast Path runs through the area. Newquay is 3 miles by road for shops, a cinema, a railway station, and attractions including Newquay Zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium.

Best for: families wanting a well-located village base with flexible sleeping and easy beach access. Less good for: guests wanting a sea view or a large garden - neither is part of this property.
