Gull Lodge

Gull Lodge is a single-storey three-bedroom lodge on Trewetha Farm on the edge of Port Isaac, sleeping six with one bathroom. The ground-floor layout suits families with young children and anyone who prefers not to manage stairs between bedrooms and living areas. Port Gaverne Beach is 700 metres away - a sheltered cove where the water is calmer than the surf beaches to the south, with a seasonal cafe and clear water over sand and pebble.

The lodge sits within shared farm grounds and has a garden, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. One bathroom between six guests is tight - a shared schedule helps. Not dog-friendly.

Port Isaac village is a short drive or a walkable farm track away. The harbour - the Platt - has several seafood restaurants and a working fish landing where crab and lobster come in most mornings. Nathan Outlaw's Fish Kitchen on Middle Street books up weeks ahead in summer. The South West Coast Path north from Port Isaac reaches Port Quin in approximately 3 miles of exposed cliff-top walking.

Best for a group of six or a family wanting a quiet rural base close to the north coast, with indoor space and easy beach access. Less good for dog owners, groups who need multiple bathrooms, or anyone wanting to be in the middle of village life.
