Headland House

A three-bedroom house on the edge of Newquay, Headland House sleeps 6 and sits close to Fistral Beach - 0.4km from the sand that hosts international surf competitions each summer. Sea views are a genuine draw here, not a marketing claim: the Juliet balcony off the first-floor lounge looks straight over the break.

The house runs across three floors. The ground floor holds a king-size bedroom, a shower room with double power shower, and a utility room with washer/dryer and storage for surfboards and beach kit. The first floor is open-plan - lounge with gas fire and French doors to the Juliet balcony, dining table, and a full kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, and microwave. The top floor has a second king-size room with sea views over Fistral and Newquay Golf Course, plus a twin room and a family bathroom. The south-facing enclosed garden at the rear has outdoor seating. Parking is on site, and up to 2 dogs are welcome.

Fistral Beach is dog-friendly year-round. Towan Beach in the town centre is 1.2km, and Crantock Beach 1.6km along the coast path. Newquay town centre with its pubs and restaurants is about a 10-minute walk. Watergate Bay is a short drive north, and Bedruthan Steps is about 7 miles up the Atlantic coast. Note: no WiFi at this property.

Best for surfers, families with dogs, and groups who want sea views with parking and beach access close by. Less good for anyone who needs WiFi connectivity.
