The South West Coast Path runs from the beach south to Chapel Porth (2 miles) and the Wheal Coates engine house, or north to Portreath Beach (2.8 miles). St Agnes and Trevaunance Cove are 3.1 miles east, with cafes, galleries, and a working harbour beach.

Best for active groups and families wanting Atlantic surf on the doorstep with hot-tub evenings. Less good for those wanting low cost - weekly rates reflect the lodge's premium spec and beachside position.
