Hideaway Lodge

Hideaway Lodge is a two-bedroom cottage in Bossiney, on the North Cornwall coast near Tintagel, sleeping four guests across two en-suite bathrooms. The two en-suite arrangement makes this well suited to two couples travelling together who want independent facilities. The enclosed garden terrace provides private outdoor space, and dogs are welcome. Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher, and a washing machine are all included.

Bossiney Cove beach is 500 metres on foot - a cove accessible via a steep cliff path, with rock pools at low tide and limited visitor numbers due to the descent. Tintagel Castle, linked to Arthurian legend, stands on the headland about 1.5km to the south and draws significant visitor numbers. The village of Tintagel has a pub, shops, and a post office a short drive away. The South West Coast Path runs past the village, connecting north to Tregardock Beach at 5.4km and south to Port Gaverne at 10.2km - a sheltered fishing cove with a pub on the quay.

This lodge is ideal for two couples or a family of four who want to be within easy reach of the coast without being directly on the tourist trail. It works for dog owners and walkers. Not great for anyone with limited mobility, as the lane and local paths are steep. Saturday changeover applies.
