High View Barn

High View Barn is a detached barn conversion on a family-run farm, two miles from Launceston, with views towards Dartmoor National Park. The extras go beyond the house: a games and fitness room with its own bathroom, complimentary coarse and game fishing, and a beauty salon on site. A garden centre next door has a cafe, farm shop and plant nursery.

The living space is one open-plan room with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. The kitchen has an oven, induction hob, American fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. Heating is electric, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

It sleeps six. The main double has an en-suite shower room, and a second double has direct access to the outside, as does the main one. The twin is served by a family bathroom with a bath, shower over and heated towel rail. There are three bathrooms in all: the en-suite shower room and two with a bath and shower over.

There is a private garden with seating and dining furniture. Parking is ample and off-road, and WiFi covers the property. Two travel cots are available on request, plus one highchair. A shop and pub are 1 mile away. Pets are not allowed and the barn is non-smoking.

The mix of three bedrooms and three bathrooms suits two families or three couples sharing, and it is ideal for anyone wanting a base with a games room and fishing on the doorstep. It is less good for guests who want a shop or pub within a short walk.
