Polzeath is a surf-focused village on the Camel Estuary in north Cornwall, with a surf school, beach cafe, and small shop all within walking distance of the cottage. Greenaway Beach is 900 metres away along the coast path, and Daymer Bay - a sheltered estuary beach popular with paddleboarders and families with young children - is 1.3km. Rock village with its restaurants and sailing club is across the water by ferry.

One dog is accepted. Best for extended families or two households travelling together who want separate sleeping spaces without booking two properties. Less good for groups expecting a single open-plan space - the annexe layout means some guests are in a detached building.

The wood burner in the main living area extends the property's appeal into the shoulder seasons, when Polzeath is far less crowded.
