Outrigger

Outrigger is a three-storey house for nine in Polzeath, a surf village on the north Cornwall coast, with boutique, hotel-like interiors rather than hotel services. The four bedrooms comprise an emperor, a king, a twin and a bunk room with a double bed beneath a single, and three bathrooms serve the group across the floors.

Balconies and garden terraces provide several outdoor areas, from sunset-facing balconies down to ground-level terraces, with a BBQ and wood burner also included. WiFi, parking, a dishwasher and washing machine are all provided. Dogs are not accepted, and there is no sea view.

The South West Coast Path runs from Polzeath towards Pentire Point, with views across the Camel Estuary to Stepper Point and Trevose Head. Polzeath Beach itself is 400 metres away, with several surf schools running lessons between Easter and October; Greenaway Beach is 800 metres and Daymer Bay is 0.8 miles. Rock and its water taxi to Padstow are around 2 miles south, and Port Isaac is 6 miles north for a change of scene.

**Best for:** A larger family or group of friends wanting varied bedroom types, several social spaces and three beaches within a mile of the house.

**Less good for:** Guests expecting hotel services, confirmed sea views, EV charging or step-free access.
