Jenny Wren

Jenny Wren is a single-storey annexe cottage in Tywardreath, a village inland from the Fowey estuary on the south Cornwall coast. It sleeps four across one bedroom and a sofa bed, with a wheelchair-accessible layout, off-road parking, and an enclosed garden. From GBP494 per week on a Saturday changeover.

The ground-floor plan is level throughout with no internal steps, and the enclosed garden has space to sit out. Wi-Fi is included and there is off-road parking for one vehicle. No dogs permitted. The annexe is set in a quiet residential street - suited to guests who prefer a low-key village base rather than a harbour or seafront location. No dishwasher or washing machine on site.

Readymoney Cove - a sheltered sandy beach at the mouth of the Fowey estuary - is 2.7 miles by road. Carlyon Bay, a longer sandy beach near St Austell, is 2.9 miles. The village of Fowey itself, with its independent shops, water taxis, and ferry to Bodinnick, is a short drive along the estuary. The Hall Walk footpath runs nearby.

Best for small groups or families needing an accessible, quiet base within range of Fowey and the south coast beaches. Less well suited to dog owners or guests who need laundry facilities on site.
