Treverran Stables

Treverran Stables is a stone-built, reverse-level barn conversion beside an orchard in Tywardreath, sleeping four across a super-king and a king-size bedroom, with two bathrooms between them. The reverse-level layout puts living space upstairs to make the most of the view, so guests who find stairs difficult should check the floor plan before booking. The king-size bedroom has an en-suite shower room, and the super-king has a bathroom next door.

A wood burner and open fire warm the open-plan living area, and outside there is a large south-facing lawn with a barbecue, parking and a garden. A dishwasher and washing machine cover the practical side. One dog can stay, which suits a couple travelling with a pet rather than a larger group.

Tywardreath sits above Par Bay with medieval priory ruins and links to the novelist Daphne du Maurier, and Fowey River winds down to the harbour town from here. Readymoney Cove is 3.2 miles away, Carlyon Bay 3.9 miles and Lantic Bay 4.3 miles, with Par Sands and the Eden Project both within easy reach for a day out.

**Best for:** two couples wanting two large beds, two bathrooms, fires and a lawn with room for one dog.

**Less good for:** guests needing EV charging or verified step-free access, given the reverse-level layout.
