Jobs Cottage

Jobs Cottage is a two-bedroom stone cottage for four in the hamlet of Trew, close to Praa Sands and about 4 miles from Helston. One room has a king-size bed, while the super-king-size zip-and-link in the second can be made up as twins on request.

Original stone fireplaces remain inside the cottage, and a wood burner provides the main indoor fire. The living room has a Smart TV, comfortable sofas and a large inglenook with the wood burner, and a patio terrace with furniture adds to the garden. Wi-Fi and a washing machine are included, and one bathroom serves the whole group. The flexible second bedroom suits either children or a second couple, though all four guests share that single bathroom.

A large enclosed garden has a playhouse and a barbecue, with parking also provided and up to two dogs accepted. Porthcew, also known as Rinsey Cove, is 2.2 miles away below the ruined engine house of Wheal Prosper, Praa Sands itself is 2.4 miles, and Porthleven Beach is 2.7 miles. Marazion and St Michael's Mount are around 5 miles east. The nearest village is Germoe, covered in the Germoe guide.

**Best for:** a family or two couples wanting flexible beds, an enclosed garden and a wood burner near the coast. **Less good for:** guests needing multiple bathrooms or verified step-free accommodation.
