Kelmscot

Kelmscot is a three-bedroom cottage for six in Trelights, about one mile uphill from Port Isaac harbour. The bedrooms are a double with a super-king-size bed (it can be set up as 3ft twins on request), a double with a king-size bed (2ft 6in twins on request) and a ground-floor double. One bathroom and a cloakroom serve the group, so check the washroom arrangements before booking at full capacity.

Port Gaverne Beach is 1.2 miles away, Polzeath Beach is 3.5 miles away and Daymer Bay is 3.9 miles away. Port Isaac's restaurants and harbour are reached downhill from the cottage, making the return gradient relevant for walkers.

A wood burner, open fire, WiFi, parking, BBQ, dishwasher and washing machine are included. The garden is enclosed. Two well-behaved pets are accepted.

One double bedroom is on the ground floor, and the ground-floor bedroom and bathroom are accessed via four steps, so the cottage does not offer step-free access. The sitting room has a wood burning stove, and the kitchen has a dining area, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. Saturday is the changeover day.

**Best for:** Six guests wanting an enclosed garden, fire features and a Trelights base near Port Isaac.

**Less good for:** Groups wanting more than one bathroom, or guests needing step-free access, as four steps lead to the ground-floor bedroom and bathroom.
