Port Isaac harbour is roughly half a mile downhill on foot. The village has a fish and chip shop, several pubs, and a small working harbour. The Long Cross Hotel in Trelights has a Victorian walled garden open to visitors during the season. The coast path north from Port Isaac runs to The Rumps headland, about 5 miles return. Port Isaac village is the closest base for restaurants and supplies.
Best for families or groups of up to six who are happy without a car on site and want easy access to the north Cornwall coast path. Less good for those who need to drive regularly - the parking situation makes it genuinely inconvenient.
