Kernyk

Kernyk is a three-bedroom cottage in the hamlet of Rinsey, near Porthleven, sleeping up to seven guests. The property sits roughly 400 metres from Porthcew (Rinsey Cove) - a National Trust beach with clear water and mining heritage visible in the cliffs - and has direct access to the South West Coast Path.

The cottage is arranged over two floors. Three bedrooms - a king-size, a twin and a family room with double and single bed - are split across both levels. A ground-floor bathroom has a bath with shower over, and a separate shower room and first-floor cloakroom are also provided. The ground-floor sitting room has a multi-fuel stove; a second sitting room upstairs gives additional living space. The kitchen/diner connects to a utility room. Equipment includes an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher.

The property has enclosed gardens on three sides - front, side and rear - with lawn, patio and outdoor furniture. Off-road parking fits three cars. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. A travel cot is available on request.

Porthcew (Rinsey Cove) is a short walk at 0.4 km. Praa Sands, a wide golden beach with summer lifeguard cover and reliable surf, is 1.5 km along the coast. Porthleven's harbour restaurants - including Kota and Amelie's - are about a mile away, and Helston is a short drive north for supplies.
