Keynvor Blue

Keynvor Blue is a one-bedroom apartment in Carbis Bay with direct sea views across the bay from a large bay window in the open-plan living and dining area. It sleeps three. Wifi and off-road parking are included.

The single bedroom takes three guests, with a contemporary walk-in shower room with rain head alongside. The separate kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. A private garden sits outside the apartment. No dogs are permitted. Check-in is at 4pm and check-out at 10am, and there is one external step at the entrance.

Carbis Bay beach is 700 metres downhill on foot - a sheltered south-facing sandy cove with calm water that holds its warmth into September and is lifeguarded through the summer. Porthkidney Beach is 0.9 miles along the dunes to the east. Porthminster Beach in St Ives is 1.3 miles, but the branch line train from Carbis Bay station gets there in under five minutes, which removes the need to deal with St Ives parking in season.

Best for couples or a couple with one child who want direct sea views and a calm base with easy rail access to St Ives without the parking difficulties. Less suited to guests with dogs, families needing more than one bedroom, or anyone wanting ground-floor access throughout.
