Killaganoon

Killaganoon is a stone cottage in the centre of St Ives with a traditional facade and stained-glass entrance screen. Two bedrooms - a double and a twin - sleep 4 guests. The panelled lounge has a coal-effect electric fire and leads to a suntrap terrace at the front with a table and chairs for outdoor dining or morning coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, and Wi-Fi is included throughout.

Porthgwidden Beach is 200 metres from the door, Porthmeor is 300 metres, and the harbour beach is 300 metres beyond that - so all three of St Ives' main beaches are reachable on foot within five minutes. The Tate St Ives gallery and Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden are both within easy walking distance, as is the working fish quay where day boats land their catch most mornings. The town centre's cafes, galleries, and restaurants are all accessible without needing a car.

The cottage is dog-friendly, which means it suits couples or families with a dog who want a central base without driving to the beach each day. The garden is private and enclosed, giving dogs a safe outdoor space. The terrace at the front faces the street and is a good spot for watching St Ives go about its day. A washing machine is included, making it practical for longer stays.

Best for couples or a family of 4 who want to walk to the beach and galleries rather than drive. Not great for anyone needing a large living space or wanting complete quiet, as the central location means some street noise.
