Kingfisher House

Kingfisher House is a detached two-bedroom cottage in Tintagel village, sleeping four across two bedrooms with two bathrooms. The layout includes accessible features throughout, making it one of the few properties in the area that works for guests with limited mobility. Dogs are welcome and there is a gravelled garden at the rear. Parking, a washing machine, and Wi-Fi are included.

Bossiney Cove Beach is 1.4km from the cottage - a small inlet below the cliffs, reached via a steep path from the coast road, and best visited at low tide when a sandy cove is exposed. Tintagel Castle headland is under a mile from the village and linked to the mainland by a footbridge installed in 2019. Trebarwith Strand is a few kilometres south along the B3263, a sand and rock beach that covers completely at high tide. Tregardock Beach is 4.4km and Port Gaverne is 9.2km.

The village has a post office, several pubs, and cafes concentrated along Fore Street. Boscastle harbour is around 4 miles north-east along the coast road, with a National Trust visitor centre at the top of the valley.

Good for families or couples who want access to the castle and coast path, and suits guests who need a ground-floor accessible layout. Less good for anyone wanting a beach-side location - the nearest beaches all require a walk or short drive.
