Knill Cottage West

Knill Cottage West is a three-storey whitewashed cottage for four on the edge of St Ives, close to Carbis Bay.

One bedroom has a zip-and-link super-king bed that splits into twins on request; the other is king-size. There is a family shower room on the ground floor and another on the first floor, beside the bedrooms. An electric fire heats the living area, and a top-floor snug has a games console and Smart TV. WiFi, parking for one car, a dishwasher and washing machine are included, with an air fryer in the kitchen and a tumble dryer alongside the washing machine, and up to two dogs are welcome.

Outside, an enclosed seating area is decked across two levels and has a BBQ. Carbis Bay is 800 metres away and holds Blue Flag status, sheltered enough for swimming most of the year. Porthminster Beach is 0.8 miles and St Ives Harbour Beach 0.9 miles.

Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden are 1.5 miles into town, both part of the artists' colony that has drawn painters to St Ives since the 1880s.

The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms.

**Best for:** Two couples or a family wanting two shower rooms and a separate games snug.

**Less good for:** Guests needing step-free accommodation.
