Lantern Cottage is a Grade II listed three-bedroom cottage on Charlestown Road, sleeping five. The property sits 600m from the harbour and beach in one of Cornwall's most recognisable filming locations - the Georgian port used in BBC's Poldark.

Inside, the sitting room has an open fire and a TV. The kitchen-diner has an electric oven with gas hob, microwave, and an under-counter fridge and freezer. A washer/dryer and dishwasher handle the practical side. Two double bedrooms and a single bedroom are upstairs - two of the bedrooms have TVs. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower, basin, and WC. An outdoor toilet is in the garden.

The enclosed front garden has a lawn with seating, and a rear garden adds a patio area and a storage shed. Roadside parking is available. One well-behaved dog is welcome. A travel cot and high chair are provided on request.

Charlestown Beach is 600m south - a mixed sand-and-rock shore beside the harbour with tall ships moored year-round and rock pools at low tide. Carlyon Bay, a longer sandy beach with kayaking and paddleboarding, is 0.6 miles east. The Shipwreck Treasure Museum in the harbour holds over 8,000 artefacts from 165 shipwrecks. The Eden Project is a 10-minute drive inland, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are about 5 miles along the coast road.
