Lazy Waves is an Edwardian seafront townhouse in central Newquay, sleeping 18 across 9 bedrooms and 4 floors. The bed plan runs to 1 super-king-size room, 3 king-size rooms, 3 doubles and 2 twin zip-and-links that can convert to super-king-sizes on request, giving groups flexibility to mix couples and families.

Eight bathrooms serve the 9 bedrooms, easing pressure without guaranteeing an en-suite for every room. Floor-to-ceiling windows on the upper floors look out over Towan Beach, Newquay Harbour and open water, and a south-facing balcony offers another spot to take in the view. Towan Beach, Newquay's town beach with its famous island house on a suspension bridge, is 100 metres away. Great Western Beach, where the town first took up surfing, is 400 metres, and Tolcarne Beach, a cliff-sheltered crescent with a café on the sand, is 700 metres. Shops, cafes, restaurants and a cinema are all within walking distance, and Fistral Beach's international surf competitions are a short walk beyond the harbour.

**Best for:** a large group wanting 9 bedrooms, a hot tub and immediate beach access in the centre of town. **Less good for:** guests avoiding stairs across four floors, anyone needing EV charging, or travellers wanting a confirmed review history before booking.
