Little Chycoose

Little Chycoose is a four-bedroom cottage in the hamlet of Bissoe, between Truro and Perranwell, sleeping seven across three bathrooms. The main house has two floors, and one king-size bedroom with its own shower room sits in a separate ground-floor annex in the grounds. An open fire, BBQ, and garden add practical comfort for group stays, and there is EV charging on site - still relatively uncommon in this part of Cornwall.

The Bissoe Bike Trail passes within a short distance of the property, following the route of the old Portreath to Devoran mineral tramway through a wooded valley. At roughly 8 miles, the trail makes a manageable half-day ride for mixed-ability groups. Castle Beach and Gyllyngvase in Falmouth are both 6.2 miles away, with Swanpool Beach at 6.3 miles, giving the property a mid-Cornwall position convenient for either coast.

Truro city centre - with its cathedral, shops, and train connections to London Paddington - is about 20 minutes by road. The Royal Cornwall Museum is there for wet-weather days. Perranwell station (Falmouth branch line) is a mile away for visitors who prefer not to drive.

Best for families or groups of up to seven who want a spacious rural base with a large garden and EV charging. Guests who need step-free access should check with the owner before booking. Two pets are welcome at £15 per pet per week. Sunday changeover.
