Long Down Spa

Long Down Spa puts a hot tub in its own enclosed garden, which has outdoor furniture. The lodge is semi-detached and on one level, within Whalesborough Resort and Spa in Marhamchurch, 2.5 miles from Bude, and sleeps four.

The super-king-size bedroom has an en-suite with a bath, shower over, basin and WC, and the twin has an en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Both rooms have TVs.

Exposed beams run across the open-plan living area, where a woodburning stove sits in the sitting room and the kitchen has a breakfast bar. Cooking equipment includes a double electric oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle, and a washing machine is provided. Underfloor heating is fitted, and there is a Smart TV and WiFi. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

Designated parking is near the property, with additional room in the on-site car park. Two well-behaved pets are welcome, with a pet charge per pet per night, and smoking is not allowed. A cot and highchair can be requested. On the resort are indoor and outdoor heated pools, a sauna and a restaurant.

The hot tub and two en-suites make it ideal for two couples. It is less good for a party of five or more, since it sleeps four.
