Lyra

Lyra is a one-bedroom, reverse-level cottage for two on a 36-acre estate near Crackington Haven, within a National Landscape between Boscastle and Bude. The ground-floor king-size bedroom has exposed beams and an en-suite with both bath and shower.

Upstairs, the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area has a Smart TV and opens onto a balcony with countryside views. A shared games room on the estate holds a pool table, air hockey and a dartboard. Parking, a dishwasher, a barbecue and EV charging are included, and up to two dogs are welcome. There is no Wi-Fi, no washing machine and no private garden, though the balcony gives private outdoor space.

Millook Beach is 2.0 miles away and Crackington Haven Beach 2.1 miles, with Widemouth Bay a further 3.5 miles. The hamlet itself has just the Coombe Barton Inn and a small cafe, but the coast path in both directions is among the most demanding in Cornwall, crossing High Cliff, Cornwall's highest sheer drop, on the route north towards Bude.

**Best for:** a couple wanting a king-size bed, a countryside balcony, a shared games room and EV charging, with room for two dogs. **Less good for:** guests who struggle with stairs, need step-free access, or want Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, a private garden or a beach within walking distance.
