Marwenne Cottage Bude

Marwenne Cottage takes its name from the Norman church of St Marwenne at the centre of Marhamchurch, a village about 1.5 miles south of Bude. The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms.

A king-size room, a double and a twin share a single bathroom, so a family gets varied beds but limited washing facilities at full occupancy. Open-plan living sits upstairs with countryside and sea views, and outdoor seating is provided on both a first-floor balcony and at ground level. A hot tub, swimming pool and wood burner are included, along with WiFi, parking, a dishwasher, a washing machine and EV charging. Up to two dogs can stay. There is no garden.

Widemouth Bay is 1.9 miles away, Summerleaze Beach is 2.5 miles and Crooklets Beach 2.8 miles from the cottage. Summerleaze is home to Bude's tidal sea pool, and both beaches are around a five-minute drive from Marhamchurch. The Bude Canal towpath gives a flat walking and cycling route into the countryside, and the village's own Bullers Arms pub serves as the local.
