Medlands: 3-bed house for 6 with woodburner and garden
Medlands sits on Whalesborough Resort and Spa, near Marhamchurch village, which has a local shop and a pub. The centre of Bude is 2.5 miles off. The house is arranged over two storeys, with the living space downstairs and all three bedrooms above.
The ground floor is a single open-plan room: kitchen, dining area, and a seating corner around a woodburning stove. Underfloor heating runs beneath. Cooking is catered for with a double electric oven, induction hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, and there is a dishwasher and a washing machine. A Smart TV and WiFi are provided.
The bedrooms are a king-size with an en-suite walk-in shower, a super-king-size and a twin. The house also has a bathroom with a walk-in shower, basin and WC, and a separate cloakroom with a basin and WC. Six guests is the maximum. Cot and highchair are available if requested.
Outside, the fenced garden has furniture and a barbecue area. There is parking for one car by the house and more in the on-site car park. Up to two well-behaved pets can stay, with a charge per pet for each night. No smoking is allowed.
Medlands is best for a family or a group of friends who each want a room, and it suits dog owners. Anyone who struggles with stairs will find it less good, since every bedroom is upstairs.
