Meneage House Helston

Meneage House is a three-storey stone townhouse for six in central Helston, the most southerly town in Cornwall and the last stop before the Lizard opens out. All three bedrooms have double beds, a layout that suits couples or a family whose children are happy to share, and two bathrooms serve the group.

Traditional stonework sits alongside more modern finishes inside, and an enclosed courtyard gives outdoor dining space with room for children and dogs to play. WiFi, parking and a washing machine are included, and up to three dogs can stay. There is no dishwasher, wood burner, open fire or barbecue, so evening meals rely on the kitchen alone.

Porthleven Beach is 2.2 miles away, Gunwalloe Church Cove is 4.2 miles and Porthcew Rinsey Cove is a similar 4.2 miles. Porthleven itself, a working harbour with well-regarded restaurants, is about three miles south-west of Helston.

Helston's own shops, cafes and the Museum of Cornish Life are within walking distance of the townhouse, and Flambards theme park sits on the edge of town. The Penrose Estate and Loe Pool, Cornwall's largest natural freshwater lake, make an easy walk south along the River Cober.
