Halwyn Farm

Open land surrounds Halwyn Farm, a farmhouse cottage near Helston, and the front garden has patio furniture. Inside, the open-plan living space combines a dining area with a lounge area that has a woodburning stove. Wooden beams and feature fireplaces give the rooms a traditional farmhouse feel.

A snug with a piano and a decorative fireplace gives the group a second place to sit. The three bedrooms are one double and two king-size rooms, and they share a single bathroom with a bath, a shower over, a basin and a WC. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher, and there is an outside laundry room. Oil central heating works alongside the woodburning stove, and there is a TV and WiFi. Fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included.

Parking is off-road with ample room. There are steps leading up to the property, and there is no stairgate. Pets and smoking are not allowed. The nearest shop is 1.9 miles away and the nearest pub 0.7 miles.

The cottage suits a family or group of up to six. The steps up and the missing stairgate make it less good for toddlers. Porthleven is 3 miles from Helston and Falmouth 12 miles.
