Merryfield Lodge

Merryfield Lodge is a detached single-storey bungalow on the Rosecraddoc Lodge park near Liskeard, an inland market town in east Cornwall. The property sleeps four and welcomes one well-behaved dog.

Two bedrooms - a double and a twin, each with their own TV - sit either side of a bathroom with bath, shower over, and heated towel rail. The open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining area, and sitting area in one room, with a separate utility. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and microwave.

Outside, a private patio with furniture faces the surrounding grounds. Off-road parking for one car is provided, with additional spaces in a nearby visitor car park. Guests have shared use of a fishing lake on site. Note that EV charging at the property is not permitted despite an EV charging point being listed.

Liskeard is an inland base rather than a coastal one - the nearest beach, Plaidy Beach near Looe, is 13.3km away, and East Looe Beach is 14km. However, the town sits on the Great Western Railway main line with direct trains to Plymouth in 25 minutes. The Looe Valley Line, one of Cornwall's most scenic branch railways, runs 9 miles through wooded valleys to the harbour at Looe.
