Middle Hill

Middle Hill is a semi-detached, two-storey lodge on Whalesborough Resort and Spa, which is in Marhamchurch, 2.5 miles from Bude. It sleeps four: one super-king-size bedroom and one twin, both with TVs.

Bathrooms are split unevenly. The twin has its own en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin and WC, while the super-king-size room uses a second bathroom reached from the hallway, with a shower over the bath, basin and WC. Guests should know the main bedroom has no en-suite.

The open-plan living space holds the kitchen, dining area and a sitting room with a woodburning stove, with underfloor heating fitted. The kitchen has a double electric oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle and breakfast bar, and a washing machine is provided. There is a Smart TV and WiFi. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are included in the rent.

The enclosed garden has furniture, sun loungers and a barbecue area. Designated parking is near the property, and the on-site car park has more. Two well-behaved pets are welcome, with a pet charge per pet per night. Smoking is not allowed. Cot and highchair are available on request. The resort has indoor and outdoor heated pools and a sauna.

It is best for a family or two friends comfortable sharing a hallway bathroom. Anyone who wants an en-suite off every bedroom will find it less good.
