Minmar Cottage

Minmar Cottage is a fisherman's cottage for four on a quiet side street in central St Ives, a harbour town known for its four beaches. Its two bedrooms comprise one double and one twin, with one bathroom shared by the group, suiting a small family or two friends who prefer separate beds over a couple's double-only stay.

Exposed Cornish stone walls and a wood burner define the open-plan living area, and a hand-built galley kitchen leads out to a private walled courtyard for outdoor dining. The galley kitchen has an electric hob and oven, a Belfast sink, a fridge with freezer compartment, a microwave and a Nespresso pod machine, and the table seats four. The living area also has a window seat and a Smart TV. WiFi and a washer/dryer are included. There is no dedicated parking, though nearby public parking may be available at extra cost. Dogs are not accepted.

Porthminster Beach and St Ives Harbour Beach are both around 300 metres away, and Porthmeor Beach follows at 400 metres, putting three different beaches - a sheltered family cove, the working harbour sand and the surf beach at Porthmeor - within five minutes on foot. Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum are also close by in the same walkable centre.

**Best for:** A small family or two friends wanting three beaches and St Ives' galleries within a five-minute walk.

**Less good for:** Guests needing step-free access.
