Mum's Cottage

Mum's Cottage is a two-bedroom cottage for four at Cheesewring Farm near Upton Cross, on the southern fringe of Bodmin Moor about four miles north of Liskeard. One bathroom serves the group, and dogs are welcome, useful for a moor-walking holiday.

Parking, WiFi, a washing machine and EV charging cover the practical basics, and the garden gives outside space at the farm. There is no dishwasher. EV drivers should confirm connector type and charging speed directly with the provider before relying on it. Saturday is the changeover day.

The setting favours moor over coast. Minions, Cornwall's highest village at around 1,000 feet, is roughly a mile from the farm and the starting point for walks to the Hurlers stone circles and the Cheesewring granite tor that gives the farm its name. The Phoenix United Mine engine house, part of the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site, is also within walking distance. Liskeard, the nearest town with supermarkets and a railway station, is about four miles away.
