No 3 The Hinges is a three-bedroom converted cottage in Crantock village, sleeping 6 across two floors with an open fire in the sitting room, a courtyard barbecue, and two dogs welcome.

The ground floor has a super-king bedroom with en-suite shower and a double bedroom with its own en-suite. Upstairs, a second super-king room (convertible to twin on request) has a bathroom with a walk-in shower and full-size bath - all 3 bedrooms are en-suite. The kitchen-diner has an electric double oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, and fridge-freezer, with an open fire keeping the sitting room warm in cooler months.

A private courtyard at the rear provides outdoor dining space and off-road parking for 2 cars. Crantock Beach - a National Trust-managed stretch of dune-backed sand - is 650 metres away on foot, with seasonal lifeguard cover. Fistral Beach, a well-known surf break, is 0.9 miles north. Vugga Cove, a sheltered inlet good for rock pooling, is 1.1 miles.

Crantock village has the Old Albion pub and a small shop a short walk from the cottage. The Gannel Estuary attracts kayakers and paddleboarders at high tide. Newquay is 2 miles northeast, reachable by foot ferry across the Gannel at low tide or a 10-minute drive by road.

**Best for:** Groups and families wanting a village-centre cottage with easy beach access and all en-suite bedrooms. **Less good for:** Those needing a hot tub or a remote rural setting.
