Norvys

Norvys is a two-bedroom cottage in Bossiney hamlet, about a mile east of Tintagel, sleeping four. Dogs are welcome. The village pub is roughly 150 metres away, and Bossiney Cove - a sandy, tide-dependent cove with turquoise water and the distinctive Elephant Rock formation - is 500 metres down the coast path.

The interior is open-plan: kitchen, dining area, and sitting area share one space, with a Smart TV and a kitchen fitted with electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, and washing machine. A double bedroom and a twin bedroom are served by a single shower room with walk-in shower. Wi-Fi is available throughout, and parking fits one car.

Outside, the enclosed front garden has a lawn, decking, and garden furniture. The South West Coast Path passes directly, connecting the cottage north to Rocky Valley - where 3,000-year-old rock labyrinths are carved into the cliffs - and south toward Tintagel. The castle headland (English Heritage, £14.80 adult entry) is about a mile west, accessed via the 2019 footbridge spanning a 58-metre gorge. St Nectan's Glen, with its 60-foot waterfall, is a short drive inland; entry is £10 for adults.

**Best for:** walkers and coastal path users, dog owners, and anyone who wants quick access to Tintagel's Arthurian sites without staying in the village centre. **Less good for:** families who need two parking spaces or guests wanting beach-at-all-tides access - Bossiney Cove is only reachable at low tide.
