A fully ground-floor log cabin on the Killiow Golf Club estate near Carnon Downs, midway between Truro and the south coast. The cottage sleeps 6 across 3 bedrooms, two with en-suite bathrooms and a twin room with a separate wet room - a practical layout for two families or a mixed-age group. The estate describes its lodges as single-level with no steps, an extra-wide corridor and a gentle ramp from the adjacent private parking bay, and as fully wheelchair accessible. The wet room has a walk-in shower, and a shower chair is available on request.

Inside, a wood burner gives the cabin a proper warmth in shoulder seasons. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, and Wi-Fi and parking are both included. Two well-behaved pets are welcome, with a supplement charge for the second pet. Saturday changeover means a full week runs Saturday to Saturday.

The Roseland is the closest stretch of coast, about 6.2 miles south. Castle Beach in Falmouth and St Mawes are both roughly 6.2 miles, and Pendower Beach on the south-facing shore is 6.3 miles. Truro city centre - with its cathedral and indoor market - is around 3.1 miles north, making this a genuinely central mid-Cornwall base.

Best for groups with a wheelchair user, or families wanting three separate bedrooms, two of them en-suite, with a wet room for the third. Less good for beach-first holidays: the south coast is a 15-minute drive rather than within walking distance.
