Ocean View

Ocean View is a two-bedroom cottage in St Ives on the Belyars Lane side of town, sleeping four across two bedrooms with two bathrooms. The cottage has sea views and a private garden. Dogs are not accepted. Porthminster Beach is 400m down the hill - a wide, sheltered, south-facing arc of sand with a cafe and lifeguard cover through the summer season.

Inside, the cottage has WiFi, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and off-road parking. Both bedrooms and bathrooms sit within the compact two-storey layout, and the sea views are a genuine feature of the house. Changeovers run on a Saturday.

St Ives Harbour Beach is 600m away, and Porthmeor Beach - the surf beach on the north side of the Spit - is 900m. The Tate St Ives, which sits directly above Porthmeor, is within a 15-minute walk. St Ives has more galleries per square mile than most English towns; the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden is a five-minute walk from the cottage.

Guests wanting a longer or shorter break than the standard week should check availability around the Saturday changeover before booking.

**Best for:** couples or small families with a dog wanting sea views and easy walking access to three different beaches.

**Less good for:** groups needing more than four beds or those relying solely on public transport.
