Oceania is a duplex penthouse in the Peninsula Apartments building above Porthminster Beach, in St Ives. The first-floor living space runs from kitchen to dining table to sofas along floor-to-ceiling windows, opening onto a seaward balcony. Binoculars and a tripod-mounted spotting scope are provided, and the entertainment includes a full Sky package, Netflix, a PlayStation 4 and an Xbox 360.

The king-size main bedroom is upstairs, with an en-suite walk-in shower and a balcony of its own. The second bedroom is a ground-floor twin with zip-and-link beds, which can be made up as a super-king if asked for at least seven days before arrival; later requests incur extra housekeeping costs. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over. It sleeps four, and a cot and highchair are available, with guests bringing their own cot bedding.

The Peninsula building has a lift to each floor, though it should not be relied on alone as the stairs are the fallback if it is out of service. The allocated parking space for one car is underground, with a height limit of 2 metres. The shop is 0.3 miles away, the pub 0.4 miles and the beach 0.2 miles. E-bikes, e-scooters and similar must never be stored or charged inside. There are no pets and no smoking, and check-in is from 4pm with check-out by 10am.

It suits a family of four or two couples, who get a bedroom each on separate floors.
