Omalast

Omalast is a one-bedroom cottage near Chacewater, a village a few miles west of Truro in central Cornwall. It sleeps 2 and has been designed with accessibility in mind - the ground floor is fully wheelchair accessible, making it one of the few holiday cottages in the county that genuinely suits guests with limited mobility. The private hot tub sits outside in the enclosed garden, and a wood burner with open fire provides warmth indoors. Dishwasher, washing machine, parking, and Wi-Fi are all included. No pets allowed.

The location is inland and rural. Trevaunance Cove at St Agnes is the closest beach at 9.6km - a compact cove with surf hire and a seasonal cafe that handles the summer crowds reasonably well. Trevaunance Cove is best visited at low tide when the sand is exposed. Portreath is 11.4km north, a more sheltered bay with a small harbour and surf school.

Truro is under 20 minutes by car for shopping, restaurants, and the cathedral. Falmouth is also reachable in around 30 minutes.

Ideal for couples or pairs wanting a quiet rural retreat with accessibility features and a hot tub, within reach of both the north and south coasts. Less good for guests wanting a coastal position or a property that allows dogs. Friday changeover.
