Pendavey Lodge

Pendavey Lodge is a two-bedroom cottage near Wadebridge for four guests. One king-size room and one twin share a single bathroom, an arrangement likely to suit a family more readily than two couples wanting equal bedrooms and separate facilities.

A private hot tub with covered access, a wood burner, large garden, patio, barbecue and table tennis are all included, alongside parking, a dishwasher and washing machine. Dogs are not accepted.

The cottage has direct access to the Camel Trail, the 18-mile traffic-free path between Padstow and Bodmin; the 5.5-mile stretch into Padstow follows the estuary on a flat, hard surface and takes roughly two hours on foot, or considerably less by bike. Port Gaverne Beach is 5.9 miles away, Daymer Bay Beach is 6.4 miles from the cottage and Greenaway Beach 6.7 miles. Padstow, Port Isaac, Boscastle and the South West Coast Path are named as outings, and Camel Valley Vineyard sits a few miles along the trail towards Bodmin for tastings.

**Best for:** A family wanting a hot tub, table tennis, laundry, a large garden, a wood burner and direct Camel Trail access from the door.

**Less good for:** Guests travelling with a dog, or anyone needing more than one bathroom or verified step-free access.
