Pendower Cottage

Pendower Cottage is a one-bedroom cottage in Porthgwarra sleeping two, with Porthgwarra beach 100m away. The cove is one of Cornwall's smallest - a slipway, a channel cut by miners, and a handful of cottages at the foot of the cliffs. No pub, no village shop.

Inside, an open fire warms the single main room, and a garden extends the space in warmer months. EV charging is included - unusual for this corner of west Cornwall. The cottage has wifi, parking, a dishwasher, and washing machine.

Porthchapel beach is 900 metres along the coast path, a pocket of sand reached by a steep descent. Porthcurno is 0.8 miles east - the fan of white shell sand backed by the Minack Theatre, which sits 30 metres above the beach. Best for couples wanting a remote base with direct coast path access and no distractions. The nearest facilities are in St Levan village, and Penzance is about 12 miles east. Less suitable for anyone who needs shops, restaurants, or disabled access - Porthgwarra involves steps and uneven ground throughout.
