Penhallick House

Penhallick House is a detached five-bedroom house on the edge of Tintagel, sleeping ten across five bedrooms with two bathrooms. Accessible features are in place, making this one of the larger accessible properties on the north Cornwall coast. Dogs are welcome.

The house has a garden, a children's play area, and a BBQ - plus wifi, parking, dishwasher, and washing machine. Two bathrooms serve ten guests, which is worth factoring in for larger groups. No hot tub or open fire, but the space and accessible layout are the main draws here.

Tintagel Castle (English Heritage) is within walking distance - the headland ruins are reached via a 2019 footbridge spanning a 58-metre gorge, with adult entry at GBP14.80. Bossiney Cove beach is 2km away. Tregardock Beach, accessible only on foot via the coast path, is 3.9km south. Rocky Valley - with its ruined mills and 3,000-year-old carved labyrinths - is a 10-minute drive. Boscastle harbour is about 4 miles northeast. Full area detail at Tintagel.

Best for large groups or multi-family stays wanting a north coast base with castle access and accessible facilities. Less suitable for couples or small groups - ten beds and two bathrooms work at capacity, not under it.
