Penvith Farmhouse

Penvith Farmhouse is a four-bedroom farmhouse for eight near St Martin, close to Looe. Three bedrooms have king-size beds and the fourth is a twin. Three bathrooms serve the group, more than the single-bathroom layout common among farmhouses of this size.

Separate social spaces include a lounge, TV room, reading room and an art and yoga room, the last offering quiet space away from the rest of the group while the TV room and reading room cover rainy days. Private gardens and woodland contain a children's play area with room to swing and climb. A wood burner, Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher and washing machine are included, and up to two dogs are welcome.

Plaidy Beach is 1 mile away, East Looe Beach is 1.7 miles and Hannafore Beach is 2.1 miles. Looe and Polperro are each about two miles away, with harbours, restaurants, pubs and boat trips among the options for a day out. The farmhouse's rural setting near St Martin suits guests who want countryside first and a harbour town within easy reach second.

**Best for:** Families wanting several living rooms, three bathrooms, private woodland and a children's play area near Looe.

**Less good for:** Guests requiring step-free access or an established review history to check first.
