Plenteth

Plenteth is a traditional thatched cottage in the countryside outside Truro, which is 6.3 miles away. Ladock village is close by. It sleeps nine in five bedrooms, and the two sitting rooms have wooden roof beams.

The house has two sitting rooms, a dining room, a kitchen with a utility room, and a snug with a double sofa bed. One double bedroom is on the ground floor, with an en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC. The other bedrooms are two king-size rooms, a twin and a single, and a further bathroom on the first floor has a bath, shower over, basin and WC. Central heating and underfloor heating are both fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is WiFi, a TV, a DVD player and a selection of books and games. The rear garden has furniture but is not enclosed, and off-road parking takes four cars. Two well-behaved pets are welcome, and smoking is not allowed. The shop is 1.8 miles away and the pub 3.7 miles. Ladock village has pubs and woodland walks.

The cottage is ideal for a large family or a group of friends, with one double bedroom on the ground floor. It is less good for dog owners who need a fenced garden, as the garden is open. Thursday check-ins cannot be accommodated.
