Pleydon Meadow

Pleydon Meadow is a barn conversion near Polperro, sleeping 10 guests across generous rooms with a games room (pool table and jukebox) and large private gardens. Up to 3 pets are welcome. Parking is on site.

Lekerock Cove is 0.7 miles from the property and Talland Bay 0.7 miles - both are coves on the South Cornwall coast with calm, sheltered water that suits families and less confident swimmers. Talland Bay has a cafe above the beach and a small car park; Lekerock is a quieter alternative with less foot traffic. Hannafore Beach near Looe is 2.8 miles away. The coastal path connecting these coves runs through National Trust-managed cliff land.

Polperro itself is a compact fishing village about 1.2 miles from the property, with pubs, restaurants, and a small heritage museum. No cars are allowed into the historic core, so a horse-drawn wagon or a walk through the valley is the standard approach.

The games room with its pool table and jukebox is a practical feature for groups of 9 - it means wet-afternoon entertainment is built in rather than needing to organise something external. The barn layout typically provides more space per person than a standard cottage of equivalent capacity.

Ideal for: large family groups or gatherings of friends, particularly those with pets, who need the flexibility of games-room entertainment and outdoor space for animals and children. The village-proximity without being in the village suits guests who want access to local amenities without the noise of a tourist centre. Less good for couples or small groups - the scale and pricing is calibrated for 7 to 9 guests.
