Pol Cottage Bude

Pol Cottage sits within peaceful countryside close to the North Cornwall coast, a spacious base for larger families or groups of friends wanting both coast and countryside. Bude (about 6 miles) has sandy beaches, a sea pool, and a choice of cafes and restaurants, while Widemouth Bay (5 miles) draws surfers and walkers. The South West Coast Path runs nearby for cliff-top walks, and family days out include The Milky Way Adventure Park (12 miles) and Tintagel (20 miles).

Inside, a bright open-plan living space suits social gatherings, with a well-equipped kitchen including a dishwasher and full-size fridge-freezer, plus a dining table seating up to eight guests. The lounge has a wood burner, ample seating, a Smart TV and DVD player. A single bedroom is on the ground floor for flexible sleeping arrangements, and upstairs are three more: a king-size room with en-suite shower room, a double, and a twin, plus a family bathroom. Several bedrooms have views across the countryside towards the coast.

Outside, a private enclosed garden is screened by trees, with a patio, a BBQ for al fresco meals, and a private hot tub available year-round for evenings under the stars. The cottage also has access to the site's shared facilities: a heated outdoor pool, a further hot tub, tennis court, and children's play area. Parking is available nearby, with space close to the cottage for unloading. An EV charging point is on site, and up to two dogs are welcome throughout the cottage and garden.

Best for larger family groups or multi-generational trips wanting shared pool and tennis facilities alongside private space; less good for guests wanting total seclusion, since the pool and tennis court are shared with other guests on site.
